Dear Mr. [A],
I am writing on behalf of Savitri Devi who has just been operated. She wants to thank you for the dollars she has received from you. It is so kind of you to help her. She cannot yet write or read but she will wear spectacles after two or three weeks. She will be able to write first one letter a day, a small one. Her left eye does not see due to the atrophy of the optical nerve.
I try to help her as much as I can. I visit her quite often and we discuss so many things.
I do hope things are alright with you. Each one has his own problems and one has to manage in a world one may not like much as things are but we have to accept much even if we don’t think the same way.
I will be very pleased to hear from you too in case you have time enough to write.
