Do you get cards like this in [the] USA? Here in India, Swastika cards (and jewelry) are as common as dust. I am sending this card to show you one of the reasons I am (in spite of many inconveniences in daily life) glad to live in India. Here one is free: free to wear Swastika jewelry (as I did before I was robbed), to express one’s convictions (in Indian circles, of course, not among Europeans, unless they are “our” people).
These three Swastikas carry you my best wishes for 1975.
If one day you come to India, you’ll see Swastikas on flags fluttering above Hindu temples, or on temple gates. Hope to see you one day in India.
