Just received your most generous and kind Yuletide gift —  $50 — that are a “Godsend” to me (as I do not get a cent from the school during the whole fortnight of Xmas holidays, as also during the long holiday from May to August). Thank you from the depths of my heart.

I am awaiting proofs of forms 11 and 12 of my book (that is to have about 23 formees). But each forma costs about 700 rupees (i.e., nearly $100). It will go slowly — bit by bit. But it will be out one day in 1975 — let’s hope.

My most sincere good wishes to you and to your family (especially to your daughter who loves cats). Shall write again soon. (Must get a new “crayon bitée.”)
