Savitri’s Werl Prison Book
Savitri Devi was arrested by the British occupation authorities in Germany in early 1949 for distributing pro-National Socialist leaflets, as recounted in her book Defiance. She then served just under four months in Werl prison, where many convicted German “war criminals” were being kept by the British. The following is a scan of the record book that the authorities kept on her time at the prison.
